Henderson Defeats Edgar
The UFC has a new lightweight champion in Ben Henderson. Saturday night in Japan saw Ben Henderson score a unanimous decision over Frankie Edgar to take the lightweight belt.
Henderson came into the fight with a terrific game plan and followed it with a tremendous performance. Heavy kicks to the body of Edgar helped Henderson to keep Edgar away for 25 minutes. Two judges scored it 49-46 and 48-47, Henderson by UD.
Bader Defeats Jackson
In other news, Ryan Bader defeated Japanese fan-favorite Quinton "Rampage" Jackson by unanimous decision, in a dominant performance from the opening bell.

Henderson and Edgar went the full 25 minutes Saturday night with Henderson taking the lightweight title by unanimous decision. Henderson took advantage of his bigger size and heavy leg kicks to take the title.
